P D Sathish Chandra aka PD, is best known as an actor first and then a communications professional. After his last media stint as the Programme Director for 93.5 Red FM in Karnataka, he is now full time into acting in the sitcom Panduranga Vittala on Zee Kannada. He has been involved in all forms of performing acts, in movies ( Kutty Srank - winner of 7 national awards, Minugu, Prem Ka Game, Aa Dinagalu etc.) and is instantly recognised as the comedian from the TV sitcom Panduranga Vittala and for his other stints in serials like Gali Gali Sim Sim, Yakhingadtiro etc. He also ran a spoof news show for Public TV called Vaaranna for four months.  But his first love, theatre, takes centre stage. I hit bollywood!!! Yes acted in a Bollywood movie "Yeh Fhassa" , in an funny scene with one and only comedy king Johny Lever. And realized First Sandlewood & now Bollywood. This came as a simple chance to me and thanks to Bangalore which has dearth of actors who can speak Hindi. Also thanks to good friend Arun Sagar the set maker for many movies I suddenly got a call after my morning walk. He said theres a movie directed by Indrajit Lankesh (Old Govindappa Road acquaintance) and they need a good Hindi speaking theater artist. Immediately got a call from the production manager Babu and I landed up there by 11 am after sending few mails to workplace and excusing myself from work that day. Thanks to my new company PGSL who are really considerate in such matters. I spoke to Abbas Hirapurwala after settling down at the location about the movie story.
